1 dead, suspect in custody in New Hampshire hospital shooting

An active shooter situation was reported at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire on Tuesday.

A suspect is in custody after a hospital in New Hampshire was locked down due to an active shooter situation, which authorities described as a "domestic situation."

One person was killed during Tuesday's incident. That person's identity has not been released.

The incident occurred at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock released the following statement on Twitter:

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon is currently locked down following reports of an active shooter in the hospital. We are assessing the situation now, and will have more information as soon as it becomes available. Lebanon and New Hampshire State police have been alerted and are on-site.
